Week 1: Aspiring Artists (June 26 – 29)

Welcome to Kids Co. at South Shore for the Summer of 2018! Whether you’re an old friend or a new friend, come join us this week as we get to know each other and start off with some awesome art projects.

Week 2: Roadside Treasures (July 2 – 6…closed Wednesday, July 4)

Ever wondered what it would be like to follow a treasure map like a pirate? Let’s claim the school and search for clues as to find where the pirate’s treasure may be after practicing with some scavenger hunts.

Week 3: Adventureland (July 9 – 13)

There are so many places around the world that would be fun to explore. But since we can’t travel to all of them, let’s turn our Kids Co. space into a jungle and see what adventures we can have together.

Week 4: Build It/Break It (July 16 – 20)

Legos, Magnetiles, building blocks are all toys that you would normally use to build with. However, can you build a bridge with craft sticks? How many pennies will it be able to hold? Go on, and test it out.

Week 5: Kitchen Science (July 23 – 27)

Love to eat? Love to cook? So do we! Let’s cook our own snacks, choose our own ingredients, and even buy some of the ingredients.

Week 6: Spy Kids (July 30 – August 2. . . closed Friday, August 3)

This is the week where we have one of our most popular activities of the summer: Laser Beams! Want to see if you can be a real spy and go through laser beams? This is the week to test your skills.

Week 7: Hero HQ (August 6 – 10)

Who is your favorite superhero? Or maybe you want to create your own? Let’s figure out your superhero name and create a base of operations so that we can work as a team to save the world.

Week 8: Game On! (August 13 – 17)

Who doesn’t love games? Let’s practice Uno, Bingo, and different card games (Go Fish!, Crazy 8, and Magic!). We’ll have a tournament at the end of the week with prizes.

Week 9: Ooey Gooey Science (August 20 – 24)

Slime! All kids love slime! Come and make your own. What color will it be? Will be sparkly? What other things can we make that will be slimy?

Week 10: Space Odyssey (August 27 – 30…last day of camp Thursday, August 30)

Do you know the names of all the planets? What about the names and stories of the constellations? This week we’ll be coming back home from all of our adventures of this summer after travelling through Space.
