Week 1: Gizmos & Gadgets (June 26 – 29)
This week will be all about exploring the field of engineering. From Lego Building, taking a part different electronics and a visit to the Living Computer Museum, it will be a fun-filled week of Gizmos & Gadgets!
Week 2: Game On (July 2 – 6…closed Tuesday, July 4)
Card games, board games, backyard games, game shows- all the games you could think of! We will get an opportunity to make up our own games and learn and teach new games, with an end of the week visit from a local game shop!
Week 3: Roadside Treasures (July 9 – 13)
Pack your bags, this summer camp we are going on a road trip! We will explore different roadside treasures from around the world, learn about history’s’ greatest mysteries and end with a trip to our own Gas Works Park!
Week 4: Kitchen Science (July 16 – 20)
Do you like science experiments? Do you like cooking? Well get ready for a little bit of both! This week we will explore different science experiments with everyday household items and food.
Week 5: Sports of all Sorts (July 23 – 27)
The name speaks for itself! Sports of all kind! We will learn and play different games from around the world in addition to creating our own brand new games. This week has a little something for everyone to enjoy!
Week 6: Build it, Break it! (July 30 – August 2…closed Friday, August 3)
From toothpicks and marshmallows to building your own fort in the forest, we will create and design our own structures throughout the week!
Week 7: Space Odyssey ( August 6 – 10)
Have you ever wondered what its like to live in space? Well come join us for a fun-filled week of everything space! We will wrap up the week with a field trip to the Museum of Flight. So come join us to learn about space!
Week 8: Adventureland (August 13 – 17)
Bring your imagination as we explore both real and make believe worlds. We will create stories, transform spaces into new worlds and put new twists on old fairytales!
Week 9: Aspiring Artists (August 20 – 24)
From drawing to model building to learning dances from around the world, we will be learning various types of art throughout the week. We will also receive a visit from the Seattle ReCreative and get an opportunity to create art through recycled materials.
Week 10: A week to celebrate (August 27 – August 30…last day of summer camp Thursday, August 30)
Get ready to have a full week of celebrations! We will learn about different celebrations from around the world and celebrate the end of summer in true Kids Co. fashion, with fun!
