Welcome to Kids Co. at Adams, a child care program located at Adams Elementary School in the heart of Ballard. We're here to make your child's away-from-home-time as fun, safe, and educational as possible by providing our families with the following services.
Summer Day Camp-Summer of Discovery!
July - August 2019
Our Kids Co. Summer Day Camps keep kids active, having fun, and learning all summer long so come along with us!
Kids will play with friends, create and explore new things, and travel to different places each week.
We are excited to launch our new programs, Kids Co.’s Big Read and Summer Run for Fun. Each day kids will dive into good books and track their progress, and collect “reading” tokens. Summer Run for Fun is our way of incorporating exercise, in a fun way, into our daily routine. Kids will earn “running shoes” tokens and track how far they’ve run, jogged, walked, or even skipped.

Farm to Table - July 15 to July 19

Big Adventure Week - July 22 to July 26

Field Trips: The Outback Kangaroo Farm and Wallingford Playfield
Nature Unleashed - July 29 to August 1 (closed Friday, August 2nd)
The ground under our feet has powerful things to tell us. This is the week to experience nature unleashed. Discover earthquakes, tsunamis, monster storms and more through fun activities, science experiments, and field trips. Field Trips: Swimming at Green Lake and Golden Gardens Tide Pool
Gathering of the Games - August 5 to August 9
This week we’ll play games galore—card, table, playground and more! Kids will have the chance to create their very own games as well as play the great ones they already know. We’ll teach math skills, teamwork, and game strategies and get out to explore places where games are played. Field Trips: Tinkertopia and Swimming at Green Lake
Creative Campers - August 12 to August 16
This week is all about the arts! Kids can dabble in paint, create with clay, or find any other number of ways to be creative. Music, dance, drama, and photography will give everyone a chance to find new creative ways to play. Our field trips will take us out to experience the arts around town. Field Trips: Northacres Spray Park

Before School Program
Kids Co.’s before school program offers kids a safe place to start their day. Every morning, Kids Co. offers breakfast and free time during which kids can choose from lots of activities like building, quiet reading, games, art station, or just hanging out with friends. After students gain some of their morning energy, they can join our talented and caring staff in an exciting activity! Past activities include science experiments, building projects, and group games. Join us at Kids Co.'s before school program, where students start their days off right!
After School Program
Kids Co.’s after school program is designed to help kids wind down from a busy school day. Through our structure and activities, staff members focus on teaching students about social-emotional, problem-solving, and leadership skills through play. We offer afternoon snack, inside free time, recess, and homework help as well as one teacher-led activity per day and opportunities for student-led activities. These activities vary and can include STEM challenges, arts and craft activities, active games, cooking projects, and more.
