| 6th Annual Kids Co. Benefit Breakfast Fast-Approaching! | |
| Funds raised at event will be used to provide tuition assistance | |

Due to the high cost of child care,
low-income working families, single
parents, or parents who work while
attending school are often forced to
choose from a set of limited options:
sub-standard care, or no care at all.
We know that high-quality child care
keeps kids safe after school, supports
learning and gives parents the peace-
of-mind they need to succeed at work.
That's why Kids Co. eliminates cost as a barrier to high-quality care, providing tuition assistance to 40% of the 400 children we serve each year. Kids Co. turns no child away based solely on family income or ability to pay tuition fees. This year we will provide over $155,000 in tuition assistance. The only way we can do this is with community support.

So "Save the Date" for our 6th Annual Benefit Breakfast.
King County Sheriff, Sue Rahr, will deliver the keynote address, and talk about why we should invest in high-quality afterschool programs for kids. Our goal is to raise $35,000 at the breakfast. With full underwriting, 100% of the funds raised will provide tuition assistance to families who would otherwise be unable to access high-quality care.
