In Seattle, our on-site programs participate in the Seattle Alignment Initiative which began in 1999 as a formal partnership with the Seattle Public Schools and child care providers to better serve the children and families at the schools. Our programs work closely with both school staff and parent leadership groups (PTA, Site Council, etc.) to coordinate our programs to align with school programs and standards.

The Mercer Island School District chose Kids Co. to be the exclusive provider of on-site out-of-school time care at all 3 elementary schools in 1995. Since then MISD has provided resources and worked with Kids Co. staff to help implement an enriching after-school experience for children in the district.
