Come with us...
On Thursday, March 17th, Kids' Company parents, elected officials, members of our school community and a host of other individuals came together at our 4th Annual Benefit Breakfast to celebrate the work of Kids' Company and to raise funds for child care scholarships for families in need at each of our seven centers.

Raj Manhas, Superintendent, Seattle Public Schools, and Dr. Cyndy Simms, Superintendent of the Mercer Island School District talked about the many ways our programs support what kids are learning in school. They also emphasized how critical it is that kids have access to a safe place where they can be involved in enriching activities during their out of school time. |
|
| Veronica Brown, a parent from our Graham Hill Kids' Company center and a survivor of domestic violence, told her emotional story of how Kids' Company child care scholarships are helping her on the path toward self-sufficiency while she trains for employment. |
|
| Kip Tokuda, Director of Seattle's Division of Family & Youth Services spoke of the "business case" for providing access to affordable, high quality child care, detailing how child care makes employment possible for parents and saves businesses millions of dollars in lost productivity. |

We would like to extend a special thank you to Sterling Savings Bank. Their sponsorship helped cover the costs of staging this important event. As a result, 100% of the funds raised at the breakfast will support families in need who would not otherwise have access to high quality care without financial assistance.
