National accreditation for both preschool and school-age
programs is a mark of quality that signifies that a program
has met the high standards set by the accrediting organization.
All Kids Co. sites are either accredited or will be accredited
by the following organizations:
|
|
National AfterSchool Association (NAA) |
| OR | |
|
|
The National Association for the Education of Young Children - NAEYC |
Among the hundreds of quality indicators that NAA and NAEYC focus on are:
- Low ratios of staff to children
- High level of education and training for staff
- Low staff turnover and stability in the program
- Safe and welcoming facilities
- Successful parent communication and parent involvement
- Staff relationships with children, families, host schools and peers
- Enriching programming and curriculum.
